With the introduction of the Forge, crafting the Yarrow Seed in Grow A Garden is now a clear and intentional process. Gather your materials, prepare your Shackles, and fire up the Forge—your next legendary crop is waiting.

Why the Yarrow Seed Matters

In Grow A Garden, the Yarrow Seed is one of the most sought-after items thanks to its ability to produce incredibly valuable fruit. For players focused on scaling up profits and pushing their tycoon farms to the next level, this seed is a true game-changer.

The New Forge Method: How to Craft the Yarrow Seed

The latest update shifts the process from pure luck to hands-on crafting. To begin, head over to the Blacksmith—often called Smithman—and use the newly introduced Forge to create the seed.

Step 1: Generate Divine Coal in the Furnace

Your first task is gathering Divine Coal, a rare crafting material.

How to get it:

  • Place any fruit you’ve harvested into the Furnace.
  • The Furnace transforms your fruit into various types of coal.
  • If you’re lucky, you’ll earn the high-rarity Divine Coal you need.

Step 2: Craft the Seed at the Forge

Once you’ve secured your materials, return to the Forge and combine the following items:

Required Material

  • Divine Coal: 2
  • Burning Bud (Seed/Item): 1
  • Daffodil Seed: 1
  • Shackles (Currency): 10,000,000

Note: Burning Bud and Daffodil Seeds are collectible items you may already have, but the 10 million Shackles requirement shows just how rare the Yarrow Seed truly is.

After crafting, you’ll receive the Yarrow Seed—ready to plant and profit from.

Older Alternative Methods: Pets & Seed Stealing

While the Forge is now the official method, longtime players may remember older tricks for snagging rare seeds. These methods still work—though they’re less reliable and more luck-based.

Red Fox Pet

  • Every 10 minutes, the Red Fox steals a random seed from a nearby plot.
  • If someone near you has a Yarrow Seed planted, there's a chance it swipes it for you.

Golden Lab Pet

  • Some players claim it can dig up any seed.
  • Results vary, so don’t rely on it for consistent farming.

These pet-based strategies often require server hopping or teaming up with friends but can be fun alternatives if you’re collecting rare seeds.
