New images of the iPhone 16 Pro Max have surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), revealing the design of Apple’s upcoming flagship. These leaked images show off the display, back panel, and edges, giving us our first glimpse of the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Expected Release and Rumors
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 16 series later this year. Ahead of the official release, several leaks and rumors have surfaced about the new phone. These include improvements in display, battery and camera features. Notably, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is rumored to be larger than the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Comparison with iPhone 15 Pro Max
Tech insider Daniel shared images comparing the iPhone 16 Pro Max with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The photos highlight the display, back panel, and sides of both models. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to feature a 6.9-inch display, slightly larger than its predecessor’s 6.7-inch screen.
Design and Material
The leaked images suggest a minimal difference in screen size, but they do not confirm exact dimensions or resolution. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to have a Titanium body, similar to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. While rumors suggest a new camera placement, the leaked images show a design very similar to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
New A-Series Chips and Features
The iPhone 16 series will feature new A-series chips, using the latest N3E 3-nanometer technology. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro might use different chips, with the more advanced chip reserved for the Pro models.
Action Button and Capture Button
The Action button from the iPhone 15 Pro models is expected to be included in all iPhone 16 models. Additionally, a new “Capture Button” for photos and videos will function like a digital camera shutter, with multiple pressure levels for focusing and capturing images.
Vertical Camera Lens Arrangement
Apple plans to introduce a new vertical camera lens arrangement in the iPhone 16 series. This new setup is expected to allow standard iPhone 16 models to capture Spatial Video for the Vision Pro headset.
