Union minister launched “Bhabhiji” papad, as a cure of coronavirus

Meghwal, who is the minister from Bikaner, Rajasthan, is seen promoting a packet of Bhabhiji brand of poppadam.

Union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal’s video that has quickly gone viral on the social media platform, in which he claims that ‘Papad’ will be very helpful in fighting with Coronavirus.

Meghwal has launched a papad brand amid pandemic claiming that it contains some ingredients that help develop antibodies against Coronavirus. The minister drew ire on social media on Friday (24 July) after a promotional video went viral in which the minister claimed that consuming a certain brand of papad would help a person in producing antibodies to fight novel Coronavirus.

He further adds that the papad has been manufactured under the PM Modi’s initiative, Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. “Under the Atmanirbhar Bharat, a manufacturer has produced papad with the name ‘Bhabhiji papad’.

I believe something similar could be done with ”gaumutra” and ”gobar” to cure coronavirus (disease),” she said during a discussion on smuggling of cattle to Bangladesh during Special Mention on the first day of the budget session of the assembly.

3. Union Minister Ashwini  ChoubeyLater, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Ashwini advocated “absorbing sunlight” as a possible precaution against the virus.

“From 11 am to 2 pm the sun is shining brightly. We should spend at least 10-15 minutes to absorb sunlight so that we get vitamin D which improves the immunity of our body and also kills such viruses. All should be aware of this fact,” he said when asked about the spread of coronavirus.

4. Congress Councillor  Ravichandra Gatti – Ravichandra Gatti from Karnataka, had claimed that drinking rum and eating half-fried omelets can help in fighting coronavirus.
