Netflix has just dropped the highly anticipated trailer for XO, Kitty Season 2,

Fans of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before will be thrilled to see Noah Centineo make a surprise return as Peter Kavinsky. His cameo in the trailer has certainly stolen the spotlight, leaving viewers eager for what's to come in the new season.

The first season of the To All the Boys spin-off focused on Lara Jean’s younger sister, Kitty, as she navigated high school life at the Korea International School in Seoul. Kitty’s romantic life took a twist when her relationship with Dae Heon fell apart, followed by a brief fling with Min Ho. But things became even more complicated when Kitty realized she might be attracted to girls after dreaming of kissing Yuri. From the looks of the new trailer, the drama, romance, and love triangles are far from over.

Though it’s still unclear how many scenes Centineo will appear in, his presence as Peter Kavinsky promises to bring a fresh dynamic to the series, especially considering Peter’s key role in Kitty’s life through the To All the Boys franchise. Fans can expect some heartwarming moments between him and Kitty, played by Anna Cathcart, as they reconnect.

In the trailer, Kitty heads back to Seoul for a new semester at KISS. She reflects on the drama of the past semester and vows to focus on her studies, all while uncovering more about her mom’s past. “This semester, I have my priorities straight. I’m going to hit the books and finally discover who my mom really was,” she says. It’s clear Kitty is ready for a fresh start—Kitty 2.0, as she calls it.

But when things start to feel overwhelming, Peter Kavinsky makes a timely entrance. Kitty, excited to see a familiar face, runs up to him for a hug. Peter then gives her a pep talk, reminding her of her worth: “You are Kitty Song freaking Covey, don’t you forget it,” he says before the trailer ends.

Speaking to Tudum, Centineo shared how much fun he had working with Cathcart on the spin-off. He praised her talent and work ethic, calling the experience of returning to the To All the Boys universe a “true joy.” Centineo also teased fans by hinting at some “juicy surprises” in store for Season 2, and expressed hope that viewers will enjoy seeing Peter interact with Kitty and the rest of the new characters.

With the addition of Peter Kavinsky and plenty of drama to come, XO, Kitty Season 2 promises to be just as captivating as the first. Stay tuned for all the twists and turns ahead!
