“When I think about a second home or a holiday spot, there are a few things I always look for,” he explained. “The place should be easy to reach, safe, and above all, it should give you a sense of comfort and peace.”

According to reports, the assailant entered his residence and attacked him with a knife, injuring him seriously. Saif, who is 54, was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where doctors performed emergency surgery to remove a knife fragment dangerously close to his spine. Thankfully, he recovered well and was discharged five days later.

The attacker, identified as Shehzad, was arrested two days after the incident. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, but the event clearly left a lasting impact on the actor and his family.
