Over 3, 70,000 units of Creta have been sold in India and over 1, 40,000 units are exported.
Hyundai Motor India Limited South Korean Carmaker Company announced that it crossed five lakh sales unit of the SUV Creta since the establishment in India. Hyundai has sold an average of one lakh Creta SUVs every year since the launch.
Hyundai Creta had a solid beginning in the Indian market. Hyundai launched its first-generation car in the year 2015 and clocked 70,000 bookings in the first four months, one lakh bookings in another four months, and in less than a year, Hyundai was pushed to increase the production of the Creta by 20%, to around 12,000 units a month, to meet the increasing demand. Later it launched the Creta anniversary edition to celebrate a year of the model’s success in the country.
