Hrithik Roshan recently shared a behind-the-scenes memory from Karan Arjun on Instagram, reminiscing about his experience working on the film.
He wrote, “As an assistant, I remember Minerva being the main theatre on release day. Along with Anurag (Dad’s other assistant, seen in the white sweatshirt in the second pic), I screened the print before the release, and we were all incredibly disappointed. The print looked dark and dull. So, we decided to get the entire screen washed. As the dirt and grime dissolved into the large washcloth, we overheard the manager saying, ‘आज १५ सालों के बाद यह स्क्रीन धुली है’ (‘This screen has been cleaned for the first time in 15 years’).”
He also shared a fun anecdote from the set: “During the song Bhangra Paale, one late night, an enthusiastic Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan decided to drive from Sariska to Delhi, promising to return by morning. I was completely taken aback and literally jumped onto the bonnet of the car to stop them. The call time was 6 am, and I had to make sure my dad didn’t lose the day. He didn’t.”
Hrithik further reflected, “Watching Salman and Shahrukh act was a huge learning experience for me as a 17-year-old. It was the best on-set acting school I could have asked for.”
Karan Arjun is back in theatres again, bringing back fond memories for those involved.
