The new trailer for Captain America: Brave New World dropped at the D23 Brazil fan event, featuring Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America going head-to-head with Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk.

Mackie, alongside Danny Ramirez (Joaquin Torres/Falcon), presented the footage, which reveals a high-stakes showdown.Directed by Julius Onah, the film introduces Ford as U.S. President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who recruits Captain America into an official military role. However, Wilson’s journey takes a dangerous turn when he uncovers a global conspiracy and faces off against Ross, who transforms into the powerful Red Hulk. The trailer features a tense exchange between the two: Mackie says, “Your inner circle’s been compromised. Let me fix it,” to which Ford warns, “Watch yourself. You’re not Steve Rogers.” Mackie responds, “You’re right. I’m not.”

The film also stars Ramirez as the new Falcon, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Shira Haas as Sabra, Giancarlo Esposito as Sidewinder, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, and Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/The Leader.

Mackie first appeared as Sam Wilson in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, eventually taking on the mantle of Captain America in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Brave New World hits theaters on February 14, 2025.
