Xiaomi has introduced the
Redmi A4 5G at the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2024, making it the first smartphone in India to feature the
Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor. This budget-friendly smartphone is designed to offer advanced 5G connectivity at an affordable price, estimated to be under Rs. 10,000. The
Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset is built on the 4nm process, delivering improved performance and efficiency for entry-level smartphones. Xiaomi and Qualcomm have partnered to make gigabit-fast connectivity accessible to millions of Indians, aiming to redefine the smartphone experience in the budget segment.
The Redmi A4 5G supports
90fps FHD+ display, offers a
50MP rear camera, and comes with
dual-frequency GNSS (L1 + L5), which includes NAVIC support. Though full specifications are yet to be revealed, the phone will be available in two color options and will include a 3.5mm audio jack.
