Dominic Sessa
-
Rosamund Pike
-
Justice Smith
Each new cast member is expected to add fresh dynamics to the story, with hints that the Four Horsemen may be expanding their team or facing off against equally cunning magical rivals.
A Director Who Believes in Magic
Directed by Ruben Fleischer, known for Zombieland and Venom, this third entry promises to balance action, intelligence, and illusion in a style that fans of the franchise have come to expect. According to Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson, Fleischer’s cut impressed the studio so much that a fourth film is already in early development.
“We were so happy with the director’s cut, we’re already developing the next chapter,” Fogelson said during CinemaCon earlier this month. “We can’t wait for audiences to discover what he’s done with the third film and are thrilled he’ll be making even more magic with us.”
A Quick Recap of the Magic So Far
The franchise began in 2013 with Now You See Me, introducing the Four Horsemen—magicians recruited to pull off high-stakes heists using only their skills and spectacle. The second film, released in 2016, upped the ante with new tricks, new characters, and a deeper look into the group’s mysterious benefactors.
In this third film, we find the magicians seemingly retired, enjoying quiet lives—until they're lured back for one final, grand illusion. Fans of the series can expect the signature mix of slick sleight-of-hand, twisty plot reveals, and dazzling visuals that define the Now You See Me world.
Release Date and Trailer
Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is set to hit theaters on November 14, 2025. The just-released trailer teases high-energy heists, new illusions, and a fast-paced plot with plenty of twists.
What to Expect
-
The return of Henley (Isla Fisher) is likely to stir up the dynamics among the group.
-
New characters may either join the Horsemen or challenge them in an international game of deception.
-
With Ruffalo’s character now a full-time member, his dual perspective as both former law enforcement and magician insider should offer new plot twists.
Fans of mind-bending storytelling, stylish visuals, and clever dialogue will find Now You See Me: Now You Don’t to be a worthy continuation of the beloved series.
