What Makes the Corrupted Kitsune So Special?
The Corrupted Kitsune isn’t just another flashy pet. It sits at the Prismatic tier and packs a punch with its passive ability: Nine-Tailed Curse.
Here’s how it works:
- Every ~20 minutes, it fires cursed energy at nine random fruits in your garden.
- Each hit has a chance to mutate into Corrupt Chakra (which gives a x15 value boost) or, in extremely rare cases, Corrupt Foxfire Chakra—a jaw-dropping x90 multiplier!
In short: this pet turns ordinary fruit into Sheckle-printing machines.
But power comes at a cost. The Corrupted Kitsune is hungry—very hungry. It requires a whopping 50,000 hunger units, so keep that pantry stocked.
How to Get the Corrupted Kitsune
Now to the important part: how do you actually get this mythical fox?
There are two main paths to try your luck:
Option 1: The Kitsune Quest (Free-to-Play)
If you're grinding the game without spending Robux, this is your route.
Find the Kitsune NPC – You’ll spot them near the center of the map, between the Zen and Corrupted zones.
Collect and submit fruits:
- 5 Tranquil fruits
- 5 Corrupt fruits
You can get these mutated fruits by:
- Playing during Zen Aura or Corrupt Zen Aura events.
- Using mutation sprays.
- Using mutation-support pets like the Corrupted Kodama.
Tip: If you manage to mutate a fruit with both a Tranquil and Corrupt trait, it fills both quest gauges at once—huge time-saver!
Once both gauges are full, you’ll earn a Kitsune Chest. The best part? You can repeat the quest as many times as you want.
Option 2: Exotic Kitsune Chests (Robux Required)
If you’d rather speed things up (and you don’t mind spending some Robux), head to the Limited Shop.
Here’s the cost breakdown:
- 1 Chest – 199 Robux
- 3 Chests – 575 Robux
- 10 Chests – 1,699 Robux
These Exotic Kitsune Chests offer better odds than the free version—a 7% drop chance versus the standard 1%. Still, that’s no guarantee. This pet is ultra-rare for a reason.
Drop Rates at a Glance
- Standard Kitsune Chest: 1% chance
- Exotic Kitsune Chest: 7% chance
Yep—it’s that rare.
Don’t Miss the Deadline: Event Ends Soon!
The Corrupted Update is part of a limited-time event ending on August 2, 2025. That gives you just a few days to farm mutated fruits, grind those Kitsune Quests, or crack open some Exotic Chests.
After that? Who knows if or when the Corrupted Kitsune will return.
Final Thoughts: Will You Tame the Corruption?
Whether you're a casual gardener or a leaderboard legend, the Corrupted Kitsune is a prize worth chasing. With its insane multipliers and mythical status, it's the ultimate flex—and a serious asset for any farm.
So grab your sprays, harvest those mutated fruits, and start working toward those Kitsune Chests.
