Step 1: Reach the Third Sea and Find the Shark Hunter

Before anything else, you must unlock and travel to the Third Sea—the exclusive setting for this quest.

  • Travel to Tiki Outpost: This central hub island is where you’ll find the NPC you need.
  • Locate the Shark Hunter: Speak to the Shark Hunter NPC, who will guide you through crafting the required items to summon the boss that drops the Shark Anchor.

Step 2: Craft the Monster Magnet (The Key Item)

The Monster Magnet is essential—it’s the item you’ll use to summon the powerful Anchored Terrorshark, the boss that drops the Shark Anchor.

Crafting the Preliminary Accessories

Before you can create the Monster Magnet, you’ll first need to craft two key accessories — the Shark Tooth Necklace and the Terror Jaw. Both require materials dropped by sea creatures and raid enemies, so prepare for some tough farming!

Shark Tooth Necklace

  • Required Materials: 1x Mutant Tooth, 5x Shark Tooth
  • How to Get: Defeat Terrorsharks to obtain the Mutant Tooth (high drop chance) and normal Sharks for the Shark Tooth.

Terror Jaw

  • Required Materials: 1x Terror Eye, 5x Fool’s Gold
  • How to Get: Defeat Terrorsharks for the Terror Eye, and either battle Ghost Ships or complete Ship Raids to collect Fool’s Gold.

Once you’ve successfully crafted both accessories, the Monster Magnet recipe will unlock automatically at the Shark Hunter NPC.

After crafting both the Shark Tooth Necklace and Terror Jaw, you’ll unlock the recipe for the powerful Monster Magnet, the key item needed to summon the Anchored Terrorshark.

  • 2x Terror Eyes
  • 8x Electric Wings
  • 10x Shark Tooth
  • 20x Fool’s Gold

Step 3: Summon and Defeat the Anchored Terrorshark

With your Monster Magnet ready, it’s time to set sail and summon the beast.

  1. Spawn a Boat: Get behind the wheel and head out to sea.
  2. Target High Danger Levels: Sail into zones marked Sea Danger Level 2–6 for the best chance of encountering a Terrorshark.
  3. Use the Monster Magnet: Once activated, it significantly increases the chance of summoning an Anchored Terrorshark instead of a regular one.

When successful, you’ll see the message:

“Your Monster Magnet has attracted an irregular beast…”

That’s your cue—the Level 2000 Anchored Terrorshark has arrived. The Monster Magnet will be consumed, and the fight begins.

  • HP: 195,000
  • Difficulty: Extremely high—avoid solo attempts unless you have a top-tier build (such as Magma Fruit or Shark Race V4 for survivability).
  • Reward Eligibility: Only the player whose Monster Magnet was consumed can receive the Shark Anchor, but you must deal at least 10% of the boss’s total damage to qualify.

Step 4: Claim the Shark Anchor

Once the Anchored Terrorshark is defeated, the Shark Anchor is automatically awarded to the qualifying player.
