  • Guts: Obtainable from the Gem Banner. He’s rare, so be prepared for some grinding.
  • Griffith (Evolved): A must-have. Griffith’s role is essential in Guts’s evolution quest.
  • A Strong Team: The questline will throw tough challenges at you, so bring a well-leveled squad.

Step 1: Evolve Two New Units

The first task is straightforward—evolve two of the new Berserk update units. These could be Griffith, the King, or others introduced in the update.

  • How to do it: Farm legend stages for the required evolution items. Each unit has specific needs, so check carefully before grinding. Once evolved, you’ll be able to move to the next stage of the quest.

Step 2: The Sacrificial Ritual

This is where things get truly unique. To mirror Berserk’s story, you’ll need to use Griffith’s special ability on Guts.

  • How to do it: Place both units on the same map. Activate Griffith’s ability, and it will interact with Guts, granting you the Dragon Slayer—the key item needed for his evolution. Without this, you can’t proceed.

Step 3: The Final Evolution

With the Dragon Slayer in hand, plus the required Essence Stones, you’re ready to complete the transformation.
