Multiplayer: New Maps and Classic Chaos
Season 4 brings a batch of new maps to energize core multiplayer playlists:
- Shutdown – A tight, small-sized battlefield in an Icelandic hydroelectric facility. Expect frenetic, close-range skirmishes.
- Fugitive – A medium-sized, tactically diverse map set in a covert CIA Black Site.
- Blitz – A high-speed Strike map built for aggressive 6v6 or even chaotic 2v2 action.
Mid-season reinforcements include:
- Eclipse – Set in a neon-soaked underground nightclub, this new 6v6/2v2 Strike map mixes style with speed.
- Fringe (Remastered) – A fan-favorite map from Black Ops 3, fully reimagined with modern visuals and layout tweaks.
Returning Game Modes:
- Team Elimination – A strategic twist on Kill Confirmed, teams have a limited life pool per round.
- One in the Chamber – One shot, one kill. Precision is key in this tense, limited-ammo mode.
- Party Ops – A new playlist of competitive mini-games made for fun, chaos, and fast action.
New Scorestreak:
Grim Reaper – Wreak havoc with a semi-auto rocket launcher that unleashes four explosive projectiles before reloading.
Warzone: Verdansk Expands with New POI and Modes
New POI:
- The Overlook – A towering new skyscraper rises over Downtown Verdansk, introducing new ziplines, vertical gameplay, and dynamic gunfights.
Limited-Time Warzone Modes:
- Clash (52v52) – Massive TDM meets objective gameplay in this high-intensity team battle.
- Havoc Royale & Resurgence Casual – Arriving mid-season to offer diverse new ways to dominate the battlefield.
Ranked Play:
Battle Royale and Resurgence both feature dedicated Ranked Play tracks, giving players progression goals and exclusive rewards throughout the season.

Zombies: Grief Mode Makes Its Glorious Return
Zombies gets a serious injection of PvP/PvE action in Season 4:
- Grief Mode – Back from Black Ops 2, this 4v4 competitive mode pits teams against undead waves and each other. Survival and sabotage are both key.
- 11 Grief Arenas – Spread across fan-favorite Zombies locales including Liberty Falls, Citadelle des Morts, and Shattered Veil.
- New Ammo Mod – Shatter Blast turns your bullets into mini-explosives, perfect for crowd control.
- Mid-Season Challenges:
- Starting Room Challenge – How long can you last in the map’s starting zone?
- Abomination Challenge – Face off against a terrifyingly buffed-up super zombie.
