Benjamin Keough, grandson of late Elvis Presliey has died at 27. Keough died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Sunday he was found at his residence in Calabasas, California. his mother Lisa Marie Presley’s manager confirmed to AFP, with local media reporting the death as an apparent suicide.
Benjamin was the son of musician Danny Keough and the brother of actor Riley Keough. Danny and Lisa Marie divorced in 1994.
Roger Widynowski, a representative for Lisa, said Presley was heartbroken upon hearing the news. “Presley is entirely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated,” Widynowski said in a statement, adding that she is trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twin daughters and eldest daughter Riley.
Many have taken to social media to express their grief including singer Nancy Sinatra have offered their condolences after learning of Keough’s death.
