Akshay Kumar welcomed actress Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta to the team for his new film “Bell Bottom” and also announced that the film is scheduled to begin next month. A statement from the producers revealed that Bell Bottom’s first schedule is in the UK, which may just be the first film to be shot internationally because the productions were shut down due to a lockdown. A film team statement said, “The film’s schedule is starting now (August). The entire team of “Bell Bottom” is going to the UK for the same time.”
Akshay shared a picture in which he can be seen alongside Vaani Kapoor, the lead actress, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi. Producer Jackky Bhagnani and director Ranjit can also be seen in the photo.
In a statement, Akshay said, “We are glad to be able to start shooting for ‘Bellbottom’ after the long lockdown. The team has made special plans and taken precautions, keeping the current situation in mind. I am looking forward to the industry to begin doing what it does best and entertain the audience again.”
The much-anticipated film will be the first film to commence shooting after the long lockdown. Bell Bottom, set in the 1980s is inspired by true events. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari and written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh, the schedule of the movie will begin in August and will be shot in the UK.
