Action-Packed Fateh: Sonu Sood’s Hollywood-Style Teaser for His Directorial Debut is Here

India’s Zee Studios and Shakti Sagar Productions have released a teaser for Fateh, marking Bollywood star Sonu Sood‘s directorial debut.

Sonu Sood, renowned for his iconic roles in Dabangg, Happy New Year, and Kung Fu Yoga, has not only captured hearts with his powerful performances but also garnered immense respect for his humanitarian efforts. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he became a real-life hero, helping thousands of migrant workers by organizing transportation and medical aid. With a career spanning Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada cinema, Sood’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable.

Now, Sood is stepping behind the camera as the director of Fateh, marking his debut in the world of filmmaking. The film tells the gripping story of an ex-special ops agent who embarks on a mission to uncover a dangerous cybercrime syndicate after a young woman becomes a victim of a scam. Not only does Sood take the director’s seat, but he also stars in the lead role alongside Jacqueline Fernandez.

Fateh promises to deliver an adrenaline-pumping experience with its intense action sequences, crafted by some of Hollywood’s top experts. The film features fight coordinator Federico Berte (Cobra Kai), fight choreographer Filip Ciprian Florian (The Woman King), and action director/stunt coordinator Lee Whittaker (Captain Marvel). The teaser showcases Sood’s character going on a John Wick-style rampage, with escalating stakes and heart-pounding action.

Produced by Sonali Sood and Umesh K.R. Bansal, Fateh explores timely issues such as digital security and online fraud, highlighting the growing threats of the virtual world. The film is slated for a theatrical release on January 10, 2025.
