Filmmaker Harish Shah Died At Age Of 76 Due To Throat Cancer

This year film industry is bringing bad news one after the other. It was only three days  Saroj Khan left us and now another bad news came from Bollywood.

Bollywood producer Harish Shah has passed away on Tuesday, 7 July, at his residence in Mumbai. He was aged 76 and was suffering from throat cancer. the family performed the last rites at Mumbai’s Pawan Hans crematorium.

Harish Shah was counted among the big Bollywood producers. His main films include ‘Kala Sona’, ‘Mere Jeevan Saathi’, ‘Ram Tere Kisna Naam’, ‘Dhan Daulat’, ‘Jaljala’, ‘Jala-The Trap’ among others. He was active in the film industry for the last forty years.

Harish Shah started his film career in 1972 with Rajesh Khanna and Tanuja’s film Mere Jeevan Saathi. He made black gold in 1975 with Feroz Khan and Parveen Babi. Ram Tere Kisna Naam made in 1985, with Sanjeev Kumar and Rekha in the lead characters.
