Veer-Zaara to Re-relese Internationally 7th November

On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, Yash Raj Films’ 2004 blockbuster Veer Zaara,

directed by late Yash Chopra, is set to re-release internationally in 600 screens tomorrow, November 7. It will also premiere for the first time in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar.

Veer-Zaara (2004) is a Bollywood romantic drama directed by Yash Chopra, starring Shah Rukh Khan as Veer, an Indian Air Force pilot, and Preity Zinta as Zaara,

A Pakistani woman. The film tells the story of their tragic love across India-Pakistan borders. Veer saves Zaara during a mission, and despite political tensions, they fall in love. However, misunderstandings and sacrifice separate them for years. The film also explores themes of patriotism, sacrifice, and hope, with a legal battle in Pakistan helping to reunite them.

The movie’s iconic music by Madan Mohan became a hit, and Veer-Zaara is praised for its emotional depth, performances, and its portrayal of love and peace across borders.
