PUBG’s UAZ Jeep Seen in Battlegrounds Mobile India Teaser

PUBG’s UAZ Jeep Seen in Battlegrounds Mobile India Teaser

Battlegrounds Mobile India has received a new teaser showing the UAZ Jeep from PUBG and mentioning the name of the Orange Map. The 15-second video game has been shared on the game’s official YouTube channel, which has recently surpassed four million subscribers. Battlegrounds Mobile India is the Indian incarnation of PUBG Mobile, which was banned last September due to its links with Chinese company Tencent. This time, Battlegrounds Mobile India is being released by South Korean developer Krafton and is trying to come up with an India-specific tweak.

PUBG Mobile popularized the Battle Royale style for mobile gamers and brought the extremely popular Orange Map. This is a great map with different regions, locations and gameplay opportunities. To get to this big map, there are many vehicles that can be found randomly in the game. One of these vehicles is a jeep called UAZ. It can accommodate up to four players at a time, meaning the squad can use one UAZ to quickly access the map. Battlegrounds have now been tapped for Mobile India with Erangel Map. Watch the teaser below.

What is special is that the teaser has written the name of the map as “Erangel” and not “Orange” which was expected to be the new name on the previous teaser which has a postcard with “Erangel” on it. This change of name was expected to be one of the subtle differences present in Battlegrounds Mobile India but it does not seem to have happened now. If Battlegrounds Mobile India has the same name and spelling as the Orange Map, then the previously cut short 4×4 map will have the same name – Sanhok.

Battlegrounds Mobile India has basically the same gameplay as PUBG Mobile with some India-specific tweaks. PUBG Mobile was banned in India in September last year with 117 apps on September 11. Since then, developer Crafton has been struggling to re-launch in India, given how popular the Battle Royale type has become in the country.
