Sega Reveals Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds at The Game Awards

The Game Awards 2024.Sega unveiled a new title in the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog series: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The game was revealed with a thrilling cinematic teaser, but interestingly, it was Sonic’s rival, Shadow, who took center stage. In the brief trailer, Shadow revs up a car and bursts out of the garage, leaving a trail of fire in his wake. Although Sonic himself wasn’t featured, the trailer definitely captured the high-octane excitement fans expect from the Sonic Racing franchise.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is set to launch across multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). While Sega has confirmed the game will be “coming soon,” no official release date has been shared yet. As of now, there’s also no preorder page, leaving many eager fans in suspense. Hopefully, Sega will provide more details soon.
