Sony has announced a partnership with Discord and the upcoming integration of this popular messaging game into PlayStation consoles. Interestingly, the news came shortly after the Discord team withdrew from a $ 12 billion deal to sell the service to Microsoft. Sony plans to integrate Discord Messenger.
with PlayStation Network in early 2022. The company’s CEO Jim Ryan (President and CEO (Jim Ryan) said:
” Our teams are already working hard together to bring Discord together with social and gaming experiences on PlayStation Network. Our goal is to bring Discord and PlayStation together on consoles and mobile from the beginning of next year so friends, groups and communities can have more fun and communication while playing games together. ”
