The release of the highly anticipated South Korean film IT’S OKAY, starring Son Suk Ku, Jin Seo Yeon, and Lee Re, has been delayed, with the new premiere date yet to be announced.

Originally set for release on December 24, 2024, the film’s debut has been postponed indefinitely, according to an announcement made by BY4M STUDIO on December 9, 2024. The decision to delay the film was made to ensure a more enjoyable viewing experience for audiences. As a result, the planned press screenings and media interviews have been canceled.

The studio expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to both the media and fans eagerly awaiting the film, promising to confirm and share the new release date as soon as possible.

IT’S OKAY tells the story of In Young, a high school student who, after losing her mother, must navigate a harsh world on her own. Despite her hardships, she proves her resilience and determination. After being evicted, she finds refuge in an art troupe, where she catches the attention of its famous director, Seol Ah. While initially at odds, the two develop a close relationship, and In Young also finds comfort in the friendship of a compassionate local pharmacist.

The cast features Jin Seo Yeon, Lee Re, and Jung Soo Bin in leading roles, with Son Suk Ku playing a pivotal part. Additionally, Lee Jung Ha appears in a significant role within the story. Directed and written by Kim Hye Young, known for her work on the 2022 K-drama Unicorn and the 2019 series Be Melodramatic, the film promises to be a heartfelt exploration of personal growth and human connection.
